1962 YAMAHA YDS2R "Kitted Racer"

Andrew McDonnell preparing to ride the YDS2R in the 1996 Classic 250 cc Australian Title at Mallala, South Australia.
Andrew gained a sixth place on his occasion.


Yamaha YDS2R "Race Kitted" 250cc Road Racer
One of the second and a rare version of the Yamaha racers to be produced.




As the YDS2 looks today with a race prepared front brake and a flanged alloy rim.

Discovered during last track testing session the engine suffered from a loss of lower crankcase compression
and it needs the replacement of the centre crank seal.










circa 1966 - Yamaha TD1B Production Road Racer - 250 cc

Matching Engine No. D6 475 and Frame No. T1 475

One of the last TD1B's to be produced.
